Parowanie w mikro i nanoskali (Evaporation/condensation in nano and microscale)

Evaporation/condensation of nano droplets/bubbles are studied within diffuse interface hydrodynamics in two-phase coexistance region. The evaporation/condensation process is observed on the time scale from picoseconds to microseconds and length scale from Angstroms to micrometers. A simple analytical formula relating time of evaproation to the size of a droplet is given. We will argue that it should be valid from nano to macroscale. The condensation of bubbles will bring us to the subject of sonoluminescence and chemical nanoreactors at ambient conditions.
