The emergence of high order behavioral and structural complexities in systems thrown and kept away from equilibrium motivates researchers in physics, chemistry, biology and ecology. The current observations of nano-scale phenomena teach us that the unexpected is often the most expected and, consequently, our near equilibrium intuition can be deceptive. The question is: What makes simple systems evolving into hierarchical complex entities? The approach proposed by Prigogine (minimum entropy production concept) offers some promise. Also, the Jaynes&
